The foundation,
through generous donations, will allow Garrett’s memory to live on. GVMF has supported the American Lung
Association Asthma Walk, provided funding for asthma training and information for families, as well as offered scholarships
to Champ Camp, a summer camp offered for children with asthma. In addition, the foundation provides funds to community organizations
and college scholarships in Garrett’s name. 2011 is
the year that Garrett would have graduated from high school. With that in mind, this summer the 8th and final GVMF
Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday July 24, 2010. It
will be an 8:00 shotgun start, 18 hole tournament at Pelican Lakes Country Club, followed
by a private party at the pool. The
price per player is $125 Cart, gift bag, and

Tournament Details Entry fee: $500 per team or $125
per person. Includes 18 holes of golf, cart,
lunch, goodie bag, and prizes. Team size:
4 person teams. Individuals or couples may register and will be assigned a team
on tournament day. Check-in: Golfers must check in by 7:30 a.m. to receive cart assignments and have enough time to get to their assigned tee box. Awards: Cash prizes and trophies
will be awarded to the first, second, and last place teams. Door prizes will be distributed
through a drawing and there will be auction items for bid during the lunch. Sponsors: If you are interested in sponsoring a hole
